A Simple Korean Skincare Routine for Beginners
Share
Starting a Korean skincare routine can feel confusing, but it does not have to be complicated. You do not need ten products to begin. A simple routine with the right steps can already make a big difference.
Start with a gentle cleanser. Cleansing helps remove dirt, oil, and makeup from the skin. For evening routines, many people like double cleansing, which means using an oil cleanser first and then a water-based cleanser.
Next, apply a toner. Korean toners are often lightweight and hydrating. They help prepare the skin for the next steps in your routine.
After toner, use a serum or essence. This step targets your main skin concern, such as dryness, dullness, uneven tone, or texture.
Then apply moisturiser. Moisturiser helps lock in hydration and keeps the skin feeling soft and comfortable.
In the morning, always finish with sunscreen. Sunscreen is one of the most important skincare steps because it helps protect your skin from sun damage and early signs of ageing.
A beginner-friendly routine can be:
Cleanser → Toner → Serum → Moisturiser → Sunscreen
Start simple, stay consistent, and slowly add more products as your skin adjusts.
